Raananah Katz, MD is among the well-trained and experienced surgeons in the country.  She has performed thousands of successful procedures and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.  Dr Katz has performed and taught other doctors in other countries as a guest surgeon.  Dr Katz was a resident and received her fellowship training at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami.  Currently she is a voluntary assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.

Raananah Katz, MD is a founding member of the Foundation For Advanced Eye Care, an accredited surgery center dedicated solely to eye surgery.  Accreditation means that the center underwent an extensive on site survey of its facilities and services, and it is a process that is ongoing.
